SAIC is seeking a Security Systems Administrator in Tampa, FL. This role involves performing tier one and two network and systems support, providing support to systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces. The administrator will maintain file servers, network access, documents, analyze and troubleshoot systems anomalies, and monitor and control application servers. They will study program operating instructions, monitor assigned applications and storage devices, troubleshoot and configure systems, coordinate with software systems engineering, and maintain operating records. The position also includes installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, analyzing and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues, configuring and optimizing operating system software and hardware, performing system backups and recovery, and conducting server builds. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting infrastructure issues including VDI components, developing and maintaining SOPs for the infrastructure and VDI environment, and gaining in-depth knowledge of system administration and processes for diverse systems and networks. A key responsibility is tracking and ensuring the quarterly implementation of DISA STIGs to harden systems and reduce vulnerabilities, overseeing and updating POA&Ms in eMASS packages, and maintaining records of deviations from the USSOCOM Enterprise Baseline. The administrator will also provide Information Assurance guidance for new project initiatives and package renewals, collaborate on cybersecurity documentation, and serve on the HQ Campus Change Control Board as a cybersecurity technical expert.
