About The Position

L3Harris is seeking a Security Support team member to join the Security Operations team in Palm Bay, Florida. The primary responsibility of this position is to support front desk and lobby operations at an assigned site location by serving as the initial point of contact for employees, contractors, and visitors. This position is responsible for providing a professional, courteous, and service-oriented experience while ensuring compliance with all applicable security, visitor control, and site access procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Security Clearance is required

• Experience working in DoD Collateral security environments
• Experience working with a visitor management system
• Experience working in a lobby/front desk environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary front desk representative for an assigned lobby or entry location, providing a professional, courteous, and welcoming experience to all employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Greet and assist individuals upon arrival, ensuring all lobby interactions are managed in a timely, respectful, and customer-focused manner.
• Process and coordinate visitor access in accordance with company security policies and site procedures, including support for unclassified visitors, classified visitors, foreign nationals, and long-term visitors.
• Issue temporary badges or credentials to authorized individuals and provide clear instructions regarding badge use, access limitations, and return requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete visitor, badge, and access control records within applicable systems and databases.
• Support visitor management activities associated with meetings, conferences, events, and other special engagements requiring organized or high-volume processing.
• Perform administrative duties associated with front desk and visitor control operations, including documentation management, reporting, procedure maintenance, and security-related communications.
• Provide additional operational or coverage support for other visitor control or lobby functions, as required, to ensure continuity of service and uninterrupted visitor processing.
