About The Position

The Security Supervisor is responsible for patrolling all areas of the property, securing rooms, and assisting guests with room access. This role involves conducting emergency response drills, daily physical hazard/safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key control audits. The supervisor will monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems, authorize and document access to secured areas, and assist guests and employees during emergency situations. Responsibilities include responding to accidents, administering first aid/CPR as needed, gathering information, and completing reports while maintaining confidentiality. The position also requires defusing disturbances, resolving safety hazards, handling interruptions and complaints, and escorting unwelcome persons from the property. Ensuring compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and using proper code responses for assistance are also key duties. Additionally, the role involves assisting management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model, and upholding the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy. This includes following all company policies, reporting accidents and unsafe conditions, completing safety training, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and welcoming guests according to company standards. The role requires anticipating and addressing guest needs, speaking professionally, preparing accurate written documents, and answering telephones with proper etiquette. Developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are essential. The position also ensures adherence to quality expectations and standards. Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements. The role involves reading and visually verifying information, inspecting tools and equipment, using computers and point of sale systems, moving at a speed required for work situations (e.g., running, walking, jogging), and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. It requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects, with specific weight limits and requirements for assistance. Fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces are necessary. The role also involves moving over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs or ramps, and reaching overhead and below the knees with bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors may also be performed.

Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Some states may have additional licensing/registration requirements to be considered for this position
