About The Position

Security Supervisor oversees front-line, 24-hour security operations and provides operational and administrative support to the Security Department. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the facility by addressing and correcting guests, clients, and employees who act outside established facility rules and regulations. The Security Supervisor upholds the department’s primary directives with primary emphasis on taking reasonable steps to protect the safety and security of the venue's guests, employees, and assets, while respecting individual dignity and legal rights. This position requires a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Years of related work experience: 3 years
  • Prior supervisor and/or management experience required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a commission license.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player and lead by example.
  • Proven ability to multitask while effectively leading and motivating a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively during emergencies and to perform under pressure without losing composure.
  • Ability to work with and maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Ability to maintain positive business relationships with employees and management.
  • Knowledge of security-related rules, regulations, and procedures with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
  • Ability to memorize, recall, and quickly retrieve relevant information.
  • Ability to interact calmly and professionally with angry or emotionally charged individuals while maintaining good judgment.
  • Ability to frequently move materials and equipment weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Ability to move throughout the venue, including stairs, and continuously observe and communicate.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule across multiple shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Train, coach, discipline, evaluate, and supervise staff in accordance with Legends Global/T-Mobile Center policies, procedures, and Security Department philosophy.
  • Deploy security staff by assigning appropriate posts, shifts, breaks, and required equipment to ensure adequate coverage and operational readiness.
  • Appropriately investigate, evaluate, and document incidents; ensure timely notification to appropriate leadership and departments.
  • Receive, assist, and respond to complaints from guests, clients, and employees in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper knowledge and utilization of security-related software systems, including incident reporting systems, access control, and visitor management platforms.
  • Oversee surveillance camera operations, conduct metal-detector and wand screenings, and perform security administrative functions, including phone and radio communications.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate security activities to safeguard company assets, employees, guests, and property.
  • Manage the security base command center, establish officer post assignments, and ensure regular patrols are conducted throughout the facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
