About The Position
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the physical security program at our Tampa site. You will play a key role in protecting people, products, and operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Experience managing physical security operations in a regulated environment
- Knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and security technologies
- Understanding of regulatory requirements, ideally DEA or similar standards
- Strong problem-solving and investigation skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage external security providers
- Effective communication skills with cross-functional stakeholders
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in security or related field
Responsibilities
- Lead daily site security operations, including guard force, patrols, and incident response
- Manage access control, CCTV, and visitor systems to protect people and assets
- Ensure compliance with DEA regulations and site security standards
- Oversee security vendors and monitor performance and training
- Lead investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities
- Drive continuous improvement of site security programs and procedures
