About The Position

Northeast Security, Inc. is seeking to expand its Patrol Unit for a key client in Boston, MA. This role involves mobile and foot patrol duties, requiring excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The position demands computer literacy, vigilance in patrolling large properties, monitoring security footage, conducting investigations, and responding to emergency situations, particularly those involving individuals with quality of life issues such as homelessness and substance abuse. Incident reporting and effective communication via walkie-talkies are essential. The ability to de-escalate tense situations with tenants or customers is crucial. Previous law enforcement experience or related education in a fast-paced environment is required. Candidates pursuing a Criminal Justice degree are encouraged to apply. A neat appearance, dependable transportation, and clear English communication skills are necessary. All candidates must pass pre-employment background and drug screenings and be at least 18 years of age.

Requirements

Driver's License of three years or more with a clean record.
Excellent oral and written communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Computer literacy is required, working in MS Windows, Outlook, and One Note.
Vigilant patrolling of a large property to include Vagrants, and the community with quality of life issues.
May be required to review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents.
Will be required to respond to emergency situations to patrons with Quality of Life issues such as homelessness and Substance abuse issues.
Will be required to write incident reports.
Will also be required to use walkie talkies to communicate closely with the team.
Must be able to deescalate irate tenant/customer calls/ access requests.
Previous Law Enforcement, or related field/education in a fast paced environment is required.
Excellent computer skills utilizing multiple screens.
Neat and professional appearance.
Dependable means of transportation.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English (both written and verbal).
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent.
Must be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment background, and drug screenings.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency situations in person.
Be outdoors during all weather situations to monitor, patrol, and respond to threats/emergencies.
Use modern technology to monitor alarm signals and respond/dispatch security personnel.
Notify the proper authorities.
Answer incoming lines.
Work individually and as a team to respond to incidents.
Review security footage and conduct investigations of incidents.
Remain calm and work well in a fast-paced environment.
Patrol and monitor multiple premises to detect any irregularities, suspicious behavior, or security breaches.
Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity.
Communicate with local law enforcement units and fire departments as necessary.
Conduct foot patrols of the premises.
Write detailed reports on incidents that occurred on the premises daily.
Maintain proper use, completion, and submission of all forms associated with patrol activities and/or duties.
Respond to requests for assistance and evaluate appropriate courses of action.
Comply with all requirements/directives within the on-site operations manual/post orders.
Assume other duties as required by either Client or Northeast Security, Inc.
