About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Security Supervisor for a swing-shift role in Mountain View, California. The supervisor oversees the security team during the assigned shift, trains officers, helps manage schedules, and serves as a liaison between staff and management to ensure client security requirements are met. Duties also include welcoming visitors, verifying identities, managing access control, patrolling sensitive areas, responding to alarms and incidents, checking alarms and cameras, documenting actions, and collaborating with law enforcement during serious incidents. The role requires keen observation, the ability to anticipate risk, and the physical ability to stand and walk throughout the shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with an hourly wage of $30.12. A uniform is provided at no cost. Requirements

At least one year of security supervisor experience; two years preferred.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Active driver's license.
State security license and additional 32-hour BSIS security training; additional training may be obtained during the hiring process.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Provide an up-to-date security supervisor resume.

Nice To Haves

Two years of security supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise the security team on the assigned shift.
Train new officers.
Help manage schedules to ensure there are no uncovered posts during the shift.
Act as a liaison between staff and management and ensure client security requirements are met.
Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
Manage access control and verify identities for access to secure areas.
Patrol sensitive areas and look for suspicious activity.
React quickly to threats or incidents.
Check that alarms and cameras are functioning properly.
Document incidents and actions taken.
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
