About The Position

OMNI is seeking a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide strategic security support for classified programs, facilities, and mission operations supporting national security space programs. The selected candidate will advise Government leadership on personnel, physical, information, and program security matters while ensuring compliance with applicable security policies and directives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Homeland Security, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting security programs within the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, or other classified Government environments.
  • Demonstrated experience administering personnel, physical, information, industrial, or program security functions.
  • Working knowledge of Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), NISPOM requirements, and Government security policies governing classified information.
  • Experience supporting sensitive or compartmented programs, including SCI, SAP, or other special access environments.
  • Familiarity with secure facility operations, accreditation processes, and transition planning activities.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required; Polygraph preferred.

  • Experience supporting national security space, Intelligence Community, or acquisition organizations.
  • Knowledge of SCIF accreditation, facility security planning, and classified construction requirements.
  • Experience supporting large-scale facility stand-up, relocation, or expansion projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance on security requirements for classified programs, facilities, and mission activities.
  • Support personnel security functions, including clearance verification, access authorization, and visitor management.
  • Partner with Government security offices, mission stakeholders, and contractor personnel to ensure effective security operations.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining security procedures, policies, and compliance programs.
  • Conduct security assessments, inspections, and reviews to identify vulnerabilities and track corrective actions.
  • Support facility accreditation efforts, classified material control, and secure storage requirements.
  • Prepare security briefings, status reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Assist with facility activation, relocation, expansion, and operational readiness activities.
  • Coordinate security requirements associated with new facility stand-up efforts, including access control, accreditation, classified holdings, and physical security measures.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Government regulations, directives, and security standards.
