About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The Security Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Seattle, Washington.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
Knowledge of security protocols and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local laws related to security
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of the facility, patients, staff, and visitors
Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential risks or vulnerabilities
Monitor and control access to the facility, including screening visitors, issuing visitor badges, and monitoring security cameras
Respond to and investigate security incidents, including theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
Train staff on security protocols and procedures
Conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of security measures
Maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents and activities
Stay up-to-date on security best practices and industry developments to continuously improve security measures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to security and emergency preparedness
