About The Position

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is seeking a Security Specialist who is passionate about safety, leadership, and delivering exceptional service in a luxury hospitality environment. This role plays a critical part in protecting our guests, employees, and resort while fostering a proactive culture of safety and compliance. As a Security Specialist, you will lead and support safety programs, emergency preparedness initiatives, and training efforts across the resort—ensuring we uphold the highest standards of care and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in safety, security, emergency management, or related field
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, emergency response, and risk management
• Experience developing and delivering training programs
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence a culture of safety
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Valid Hawaii Driver’s License
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)

Nice To Haves

• EMR/EMT Certification
• OSHA 30
• FEMA ICS certifications, or similar credentials

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain resort-wide safety, health, and compliance programs
• Plan and deliver safety training (OSHA, CPR/AED, Fire Brigade, and more)
• Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and Fire Brigade operations
• Conduct inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations
• Partner with departments to identify risks and improve safety performance
• Maintain compliance documentation and certifications
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate with outside agencies
• Provide guidance and leadership support across resort operations
