About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Specialist to join our team. The Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and facilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures, and best practices
• Experience with security systems, including CCTV, alarm, and access control systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential security risks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and facilities
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems
• Conduct regular security assessments and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and provide training to staff
• Investigate and report any security incidents or breaches
• Maintain accurate records of security incidents and provide reports as needed
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and make recommendations for improvements to security policies and procedures
• Conduct background checks and screenings for employees and contractors
• Manage key control and access to restricted areas
• Respond to security-related requests and inquiries from staff and patients in a timely and professional manner
