About The Position

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Security Specialist to support the issuance and management of Common Access Cards (CACs) for authorized personnel, including military members, civilian employees, and contractors. This role involves ensuring access control, compliance with security protocols, and providing excellent customer service for CAC-related inquiries.

Requirements

An Associate’s Degree with five (5) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma or GED equivalent with six (6) years of relevant experience.
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office.
Working knowledge of processing CAC/USID/R/DEERS/TRICARE needs.
High degree of customer focus and provide exceptional customer service.
An active DoD secret clearance is required to start.
Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

Previous history and knowledge of how to handle secure information in an office environment.
Willingness to learn other duties as assigned.
Working knowledge of DISS and Lenel systems.

Responsibilities

Issue, verify, and manage Common Access Cards.
Perform accurate data entry in systems such as DEERS (Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System) and Real-time Automated Personnel Identification System (RAPIDS).
Ensure access control and compliance with security protocols.
Provide excellent customer service, assisting individuals with CAC-related questions or issues.
Operate computer systems, including DEERS and RAPIDS, to manage access permissions.
Develop and maintain Standardized Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support in ensuring compliance with material records management procedures.
