Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree and 5+ years of experience, or experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to flex schedule as required to meet business need
  • ICD-705 Subject Matter Expert
  • Knowledge and experience with DoDM 5105.21 V1-3
  • Knowledge and experience with DoDM 5205.07
  • Completed an SSM training course and relevant experience
  • Completed 40 hour or more CST course and relevant experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, site leadership, and entry-level personnel
  • Ability to surge beyond normal business hours to provide support
  • Conceptual and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to present ideas in a clear and compelling manner with attention to detail
  • Extensive hands-on experience with leading and executing SCIF/SAPF builds across complex environments, including end-to-end life cycle execution
  • Subject matter expert in SCIF/SAPF build strategy, implementation, and sustainment

Responsibilities

  • Enforcing and monitoring security procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with all aspects of government and company security policies and procedures related to physical access to buildings, rooms, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation, and debriefings.
  • Developing SCIF accreditation documents, intrusion detection systems, access control devices, Pre-Construction FFC, Fixed Facility Checklist, TEMPEST requirements, Construction Security Plan (CSP), SOP’s/EAP’s, Construction drawings/specifications, etc.
  • Interfacing with program managers and maintaining liaison with US Government Program Security Officers.
  • Developing and implementing security procedures in coordination with management personnel.
  • Conducting security briefings and maintaining security education programs.
  • Investigating losses and security violations; may recommend corrective action.
  • Maintaining liaison with outside agencies and keeping upper management informed of all security activities.
  • Ensuring destruction of classified and company proprietary information in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in the revision of procedures manuals.
  • Performing security work in accordance with DCSA (Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency), NSA (National Security Agency), and/or other applicable agencies which conduct regular security audits and/or investigations.
  • Becoming a trained/certified COMSEC Responsible Officer if required.
  • Being responsible for all COMSEC material on your account.
  • Providing security insight and recommendations to executive staff.
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with all personnel, to include internal/external customers, Security Team Members, Mission Partners, and the Business Unit.
  • Leading and executing SCIF/SAPF builds across complex environments, including end-to-end life cycle execution.
