Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with eligibility to obtain a Polygraph
  • Five or more years of experience as a Security Professional or associate’s degree
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
  • Expertise using JPAS, Scattered Castles, CATS, DISS
  • Background in Physical Security
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Poly
  • Minimum Education: Associates or 5 years of experience
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 5

Responsibilities

  • Physically inspect and document findings for USCENTCOM Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) accreditation in order to identify deficiencies affecting SCIF accreditations.
  • Perform and maintain all annual SCIF inspection checklist.
  • Maintain the Open Storage Inspection Program and perform annual inspections of approved open storage areas.
  • Inspect, assess and draft responses to requests for residential use and storage of sensitive and classified information and equipment. Recommend whether the residence meets the minimum physical security standards to adequately protect classified information.
  • Manage and maintain the access badge system and provide customer service at the USCENTCOM visitor center, USCENTCOM compound and facilities.
  • Maintain the online Access Control Database (ACD) and maintain badge records in the American Magnetic Technology (AMAG) system.
  • Monitor the AMAG Intrusion Detection System/CCTV to help control access and preclude any unauthorized access.
  • Process FVEY Mitigation packages and TS-CIF accreditation requests for approval.
  • Brief and train proper command security practices for the Command Security Indoctrination briefings to promote Security Education, Training & Awareness (SETA).
  • Update local security publications as required, consistent with DoD/DIA guidance.
  • Provide input into CENTCOM history reports and maintain the SSO webpage.
