About The Position

Graham Technologies is seeking a Security Specialist II to support a federal customer's Personnel Security Program by performing Automated Records Check (ARC) functions. The selected candidate will research, analyze, and document adjudicative information, conduct Automated Records Checks, maintain personnel security records, and ensure compliance with Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security regulations and mandated processing timelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-6 years of personnel security experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience supporting Automated Records Check (ARC) or comparable federal personnel security programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Personnel Security, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain the clearance required by the contract.
  • Experience reviewing and processing SF-85 and SF-86 questionnaires.
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple personnel security actions while meeting mandated timelines.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced security environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience determining electronic fingerprint classification.
  • Experience conducting Special Agency Checks (SACs).
  • Experience supporting federal personnel security programs within the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day operations of the customer's Personnel Security Program.
  • Conduct Automated Records Checks (ARC) for employees and contractors.
  • Collect, research, analyze, and document adjudicative information received through ARC.
  • Maintain personnel security records in PeopleSoft, DISS, RapBack, SharePoint, and other government systems of record.
  • Process ARC actions in accordance with IRTPA, DNI, and other applicable federal personnel security timelines.
  • Prepare ARC reports using established government templates and upload documentation to electronic personnel security files (ePSF).
  • Conduct Special Agency Checks (SAC) for spouses and cohabitants, documenting actions in applicable security systems.
  • Respond to personnel security inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, white papers, correspondence, and security briefings.
  • Document Weekly Activity Reports (WAR) and provide status updates to Government Team Leads.
  • Identify personnel security issues and recommend process improvements to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Ensure all personnel security actions are accurately documented and completed within required timeframes.
