This position serves multiple school locations. It includes full benefits and begins August 17, 2026. The Security Specialist II is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of students and the campus before, during, and after school. The role aims to foster an optimal learning environment and deter unsafe or poor behavior by maintaining high visibility throughout the school, which includes walking and surveying hallways, common areas, grounds, and parking lots. The specialist monitors group dynamics to identify potential fights, gang, or hazardous activities, intervenes in verbal and physical encounters among students, defuses hostile situations, and enforces safe school policies regarding weapons, tobacco, illegal substances, traffic rules, and dress code.
