About The Position
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support impactful mission outcomes as a Security Officer at GDIT. As a Security Officer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of a critical government customer. You will play a crucial role in providing industrial security oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- 1-3 years of related experience, OR an associate’s degree and 4 additional years of experience (5 total), OR 7 total years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of DODM 5205.07 required.
- Secret clearance level/eligibility to access Special Access Program Information
- US citizenship required
- Willingness to work on site 5 days per week
- Ability to travel occasionally

Responsibilities
- Author, Maintain, and update security related documentation, reports, and publications
- Assist with ensuring CPI, MCC, and MCF, are protected at industry locations.
- Maintain and update US Government security related websites, databases, and systems of record (e.g. Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), Defense Information System for Security (DISS), local databases, SharePoint, central archive, etc.).
- Assist with the scheduling (including the reservation of conference/meeting rooms) and execution of security related meetings, conferences, and other events/activities (such as working groups).
