This position is for a Security Site Supervisor - 1st Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 2:30pm at Chippewa Valley Schools in Clinton Township, MI. Requirements

2 years previous supervisory experience
Surveillance Skills, Incumbent must be able to view and turn head continuously throughout day.
Deals with Uncertainty, ability to make objective judgment calls.
Must have emotional control and deliver communication with integrity and respect toward others.
Lift up to 40 pounds, and climb stairs.
Bend, squat, twist, and turn multiple times during your shift, and be on your feet for up to 10 hours per day.
Read, write, follow direction, and communicate clearly in English.
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to pass a criminal background check
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Supervise security team across the whole school district
Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
Conduct ALICE training as needed for required staff
Participate in the development and writing of district-wide security policies and procedures
Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry
Unlock buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with policies
Observe activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce rules/regulations; alert visitors of infractions
Assist any persons in building or on grounds needing directions or information
Prevent losses or damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers
Complete reports by recording observations and information, occurrences and surveillance activities; submit reports to Director of Security as necessary
Respond to alarms and/or dispatched calls
Assist law enforcement officers with crowd control if needed
