The Security Site Supervisor functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). This role ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. The supervisor notifies proper authorities and clients in emergency situations, and coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate, seeking advice from company management when needed. They also train Security Officers and other company personnel, review post orders, and assist in submitting payroll and personnel information. The supervisor ensures adequate post coverage, prepares and submits various reports, inspects posts, and meets with subordinates to outline tasks. Additionally, they meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service. Supervisory duties may include interviewing, orienting, training, planning, assigning, directing work, coaching, appraising performance, rewarding, disciplining, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and making hiring and termination recommendations. The role may also involve performing the duties of a Security Officer.
