About The Position

The Security Site Supervisor oversees daily security operations at the assigned site and ensures that security personnel perform professionally and consistently in accordance with company policies, client requirements, and established procedures. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the supervisor serves as the primary on-site leader, coordinating staffing, monitoring performance, maintaining operational standards, and addressing security concerns. The supervisor oversees security officers, ensures adequate site coverage, conducts inspections, reviews incident reports, and maintains communication among site personnel, site management, clients, and the Operations Manager. The role supports a safe and secure environment, promotes accountability, and ensures delivery of high-quality security services. The supervisor is expected to lead by example, use sound judgment, respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies, and promptly report significant operational issues to the Operations Manager. Security personnel protect clients’ industrial or commercial properties against fire, vandalism, and illegal entry. Client sites may include office buildings, residential properties, distilleries, financial institutions, telecommunications and manufacturing facilities, and hospitals. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent/GED.
At least 25 years of age.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergency situations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with security systems, cameras, and basic office technology such as email and Microsoft Office.
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.
For posts requiring operation of a company vehicle, eligibility is limited to people over age 25 with a screened motor vehicle record; accidents and violations are reviewed case by case.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service; not required, and training is available for candidates without industry experience.
Security Officer License, where applicable.
CPR/First Aid Certification.
Ability to obtain Security Officer Certification through initial training.
