Security Site Supervisor | West Chester
About The Position
DSI Security Services is currently hiring a Security Site Supervisor to support our client’s operations in the West Chester, PA area. The Security Site Supervisor provides hands-on leadership for daily security operations at a large, fast-paced corporate and distribution campus. This position is responsible for ensuring officers perform their duties professionally and in accordance with DSI policies, client expectations, post orders, and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 1–3 years of supervisory experience in the security field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation and means of communication
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
- Must meet all pre-employment requirements
- Valid Driver's License
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily activities and performance of assigned security personnel
- Assign posts, patrol areas, breaks, and daily responsibilities
- Conduct shift briefings and communicate relevant operational information
- Train, mentor, and support new and existing security officers
- Ensure all posts are properly staffed and assist with coverage when necessary
- Monitor access control, patrol activity, incident response, and visitor procedures
- Enforce compliance with post orders, security protocols, and safety requirements
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and other security concerns
- Observe, correct, document, and report hazards or policy violations
- Review daily activity reports, incident reports, and other documentation for accuracy
- Maintain professional communication with client representatives, employees, visitors, and the public
- Assist with investigations and preserve relevant information or evidence when required
- Support inspections, training initiatives, emergency drills, and special events
- Participate in required training and follow all DSI and client safety procedures
