Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s). This role ensures that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, and required reports are filed. The supervisor also notifies proper authorities and the client in emergency situations. The position involves coaching and disciplining personnel, training Security Officers and other company personnel, and reviewing post orders and assignment details with subordinates. The supervisor assists in submitting payroll and personnel information, ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions, and prepares, files, and submits various reports. They inspect posts, meet with subordinates to outline tasks, and meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and to provide quality customer service. Supervisory duties may include interviewing, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; and making hiring and termination recommendations. The role may also involve performing the duties of a Security Officer.
