About The Position

The Security Site Manager works closely with the Branch Manager, Branch Management, Administration, Human Resources, Field Supervision, Project Managers, and Lead Personnel to ensure that assigned accounts are staffed, trained, supervised, and operated efficiently and in compliance with contract requirements and company standards. The position oversees account staffing, scheduling, payroll coordination, employee documentation, training, coaching, performance management, promotions, corrective action, and separations. The Security Site Manager also maintains effective communication among field personnel, clients, and branch support departments, and helps ensure consistent service delivery and employee retention.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned accounts meet contract requirements and service expectations through regular client contact, site inspections, personnel inspections, and timely corrective action.
  • Create, update, and manage computerized post schedules to maintain adequate coverage and meet company guidelines.
  • Manage staffing and overtime through effective scheduling.
  • Maintain a qualified pool of School Resource Officers (SROs), Rovers, and/or Flex Pool personnel to cover vacancies.
  • Stand post when coverage cannot otherwise be arranged because of call-offs, no-call/no-shows, vacations, or other absences; post coverage must not exceed 50% of any workweek.
  • Respond to call-off and no-call/no-show communications according to company guidelines.
  • Build and maintain Post Order Manuals and site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and train personnel on post requirements, using field training staff as appropriate.
  • Supervise and provide oversight to assigned field supervisors and flex officers.
  • Complete site checks and incident reports through Tacktik; investigate and document incidents and accidents.
  • Manage inventory and communicate operational or support needs to the Branch Manager, including incidents, injuries, schedule changes, exception reports, vehicle and mileage logs, vacation requests, and disciplinary matters.
  • Report client compliments, complaints, contract or service changes, job bidding matters, and termination notices to the Branch Manager.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and effective workplace.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring decisions for security officers.
  • Complete new-hire paperwork and forward it to Administration for processing.
  • Deliver new-hire orientation, training, and development; maintain regular contact with officers to support readiness, effective deployment, and performance.
  • Participate in performance reviews and coach employees to meet company and client standards.
  • Prepare, discuss, and implement disciplinary notices and corrective actions.
  • Conduct counseling and disciplinary sessions professionally, document them according to company standards, and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Initiate and carry out voluntary and involuntary termination procedures, including termination meetings and required documentation.
  • Support employee retention and morale through proactive communication and by treating employees with dignity and respect.
  • Ensure hiring, training, counseling, discipline, and termination practices follow company guidelines.
  • Communicate employee grievances, including sexual harassment concerns, to the Branch Manager and appropriate Human Resources representative(s).
