About The Position
Midas Hospitality is seeking a reliable Security/Shuttle Driver to join their team at the Aloft Charlotte Airport hotel. This role is responsible for securing the hotel and parking lot areas, transporting guests to and from the airport, and assisting guests with their luggage. The position requires open availability for overnight shifts.
Requirements
- Knowledge of hotel services and the local area events and activities.
- Open availability for overnight shifts throughout the week.
- Excellent driving record as verified by Motor Vehicle Report.
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel shuttle and/or security experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive the van through the parking lot to secure the parking lot.
- Ensure the hotel is secure and respond to any potential security issues on hotel grounds.
- Assist guests with storage and retrieving their luggage from the van.
- Open vehicles and hotel doors to assist guests.
- Respond to guest questions, issues and problems regarding transportation, hotel services and local events, points of interest and activities.
- Maintain the hotel van; gas, oil, cleanliness; filling in daily van reports and reporting any malfunctions on a daily basis.
