About The Position

Allied Universal Services is hiring an unarmed Security Shift Supervisor for residential homes in Irvine, California. The supervisor oversees and coordinates quality security services during an assigned shift and acts as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and security officers. The role includes supervising officers and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range. The listed schedule is swing shift, 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., at a pay rate of $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal professionally and effectively with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Complete a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test; a driver record check may also be required.
• Have intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Handle common and crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• For driving positions: possess a valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience; meet the stated driving-record and insurance requirements; and be able to safely operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned shift at a customer site.
• Act as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within the approved empowerment range.
• Prepare written reports and logs.
