About The Position

Provides direct security and related public services. This role involves implementing and overseeing security operations at individual facilities, including day-to-day supervision, motivation, coaching, and training of on-site Officers. The position requires upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.

Requirements

High School diploma or G.E.D
Previous security experience
Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tarian's driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)
For applicable roles, previous employment must be verified through our background vendor. If any employment cannot be confirmed, candidates may be required to provide proof of employment (such as a pay stubs or W-2s).
At least 21 years of age
Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a weapon.
Ability to pass the initial and semi-annual Tarian approved firearms training course to demonstrate proficiency in use of firearm
Ability to participate and meet the requirements of additional firearms training at the discretion of the firearms instructor
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Firearms policies
Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a TASER position and annually thereafter
Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASER
Ability to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructor and/or Tarian.
Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Tarian's Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER), Tarian's Taser Policy
