About The Position

Allied Universal Services is seeking a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on an assigned customer shift. The supervisor serves as a liaison among the site supervisor, Account Manager or Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. They supervise staff on the assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition, and discipline within their approved empowerment range.

The position is listed at $20 per hour, paid weekly, and scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. At least two years of security experience is required. The role requires effective communication and customer service, the ability to use judgment within established guidelines, and the ability to handle routine and crisis situations calmly and efficiently. Intermediate computer skills are needed to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.

Requirements

• At least two years of security experience.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with personnel at all levels and the general public.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
• Ability to prepare frequent written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client-specific sites.
• Ability to handle common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post-offer/pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• For driving positions: valid driver's license, at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record under the stated company criteria, the required level of insurance, and the ability to operate a vehicle safely.
• A driver's record check may be required.
