About The Position

Allied Universal Services is currently searching for a Professional Security Shift Supervisor. The Shift Security Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. The Security Shift Supervisor will act as a liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the US
  • Must possess a current state security license
  • Must be able to obtain a security license
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to provide, on a daily basis, such screening as may be required by the client
  • Must be able to remain alert and aware of surroundings
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to work in a variety of environments
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to maintain the ability to see or hear, or call for assistance when the need arises

Responsibilities

  • Enforce Contract Standards and notify the Portfolio Manager of any violations.
  • Administers site safety programs outlining site-specific hazards for security officers to include construction area safety.
  • Enforces Allied Universal’s policies as outlined in the handbooks and executive memos.
  • Oversee all Job Related and ongoing training for security officers this includes client-based computer training both initial and annual training. It will also include training on all systems utilized by the client.
  • Effectively Communicate any client special coverage requests, Security Professional Request Offs & Position Openings to the Operations Manager.
  • Evaluating performance and providing feedback to security officers.
  • Addressing employee concerns and disciplinary issues.
  • Communicate staffing needs to Operations Manager.
  • Implementing and enforcing specific client security policies and procedures.
  • Conducting regular security patrols and inspections of the premises.
  • Monitoring security systems like CCTV cameras and access control systems.
  • Responding to security alarms and incidents promptly.
  • Investigating security breaches and suspicious activities.
  • Documenting incidents and preparing reports to be sent to the Operations Center.
  • Preparing for emergency situations and conducting drills.
  • Coordinate and maintain open communication with clients, AUS management, and Security Officers.
  • Main point of contact for client and Portfolio Manager on all day-to-day operations.
  • Briefing staff on security protocols, new procedures and other important information
