About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor. This role requires an individual with a keen sense of observation, the ability to anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc. This is a full-time position with a set schedule.

Requirements

State security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings (Additional security trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of security supervisor experience. Preferably two years
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have active driver's license
Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Nice To Haves

First aid certification is an asset
Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience

Responsibilities

Supervise the security team on your given shift
Train new officers
Help manage schedules to make sure you have zero dark posts during your shift
Act as a liaison between staff and management, ensuring client security requirements are met
Customer service duties like welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
Manage access control
Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
Verify identities and control access to secure areas
React quickly to threats or incidents
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
Document incidents and actions taken
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
