About The Position
Ready to suit up as a Security Shift Supervisor. What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths. As a supervisor, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling retail environments of various sizes and leading your team.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid security license
- First aid certification
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Ability to write concise reports
Responsibilities
- Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Check identification and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the shift responsibilities and tasks are completed to quality
