Now Hiring Shift Supervisor Professional to work in the Kendall area, FL! As a Security Shift Supervisor, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. The Security Shift Supervisor will function as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and professional security officers. Supervise staff on assigned shift, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Requirements

  • A Valid Driver’s license
  • Valid Florida Security License D License
  • 2 years of Security Supervisor experience
  • Be at least 21+ years of age.
  • Required, ability to use a computer or tablet.
  • Required, comfortable working outdoors in all elements of the weather for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day security operations of an assigned client site.
  • Manage a team of security officers, site and/or shift supervisors including hiring/selection, scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, development, and support.
  • Ensure the client site is provided with high quality security services to protect people and property.
  • Build, improve and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees.
  • Provide customer service to our clients by conducting safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and, if appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
  • Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
  • Must possess effective written and oral communication and people skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner; must be able to use initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines.
  • Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and log in neat, legible handwriting.
  • Must be able to read and understand all operating procedures and instructions.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.
  • Ability to manage both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently.
