About The Position

Egan is seeking Security Service Technicians for opportunities around the Greater Twin Cities area. This is a union position with top-rate wages, healthcare, retirement, and vacation benefits. We are looking for independent, customer-service-oriented individuals who will consistently adhere to safety standards.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
Valid MN Power Limited Technician license.
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills
Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
Valid Driver�s License
3 year Limited Energy JATC training or equivalent in time worked in the industry
Current IBEW Member or Willingness to join the local IBEW
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds (alone) or 50 to 85 pounds with assistance (team)
Ability to climb a ladder and work with heights
Highly motivated and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Proficiency using hand and power tools associated with the job in a safe manner
Good hand dexterity and strength
Ability to work well with others
Ability to work overtime depending on workload

Nice To Haves

Lenel, S2, Sielox, Bosch, Avigilon, Milestone, or ExacqVision experience

Responsibilities

Service and repair specified security systems and peripheral device including but not limited to access control, burglar and video surveillance systems.
Programming Security Systems � Lenel, S2, Sielox, Bosch, Avigilon, Milestone, or ExacqVision experience is a plus
Assist with the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or system installation
Train and instruct new users on a security equipment
Work with dispatch coordinators to get service requests accomplished in a timely manner
Completion of daily communications to the office and customer
