About The Position

Step into the shadows and bring the thrills to life! Now hiring for our Haunt season. Get ready to bring the fear and FUN with Kings Dominion this Haunt season! Help us create memories that will last a lifetime! Applicants must be 18 years of age or older for this position. Working in Security as a seasonal Security Screener at Kings Dominion, you'll be responsible for the safety and security for all of our guests, associates, and company assets.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
People who love helping others and will support the needs of our guests and associates.
Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
Individuals with a passion and excitement about Kings Dominion.
Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Make our guests happy by delivering amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories.
Interact with different people of all ages and backgrounds.
Gain skills, knowledge and experience that will benefit your future.
Greet guests and associates entering the park and guide them through the screening process.
Facilitate screening for firearms and unauthorized weapons using detection units.
Perform bag checks and cooler searches for any unauthorized items.
