About The Position

The Video Surveillance & Security Consultant represents Alert 360 and sells security and related solutions to businesses and homes. Offerings include stand-alone camera systems (CCTV), solar mobile surveillance trailers, powered live video monitoring hardware, security systems, and smart home automation. The role involves identifying customer needs, recommending solutions, building customer relationships, and closing sales, including through face-to-face meetings. Alert 360 provides product knowledge, sales training, and ongoing support. Compensation is 100% commission, with advertised annual earnings tied to weekly sales volume; the listed salary range is $60,000–$120,000 commission per year. Leads may vary and are not guaranteed.

Requirements

Be highly motivated to achieve personal and company goals, with self-motivation, work ethic, ambition, and drive.
Be comfortable working for 100% commission.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Have reliable transportation, a good driving record, a valid driver’s license, and current vehicle insurance.
Be available to work evenings and weekends.
Have the ability to perform basic math and daily tasks using an iPad or smartphone.
A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain a network of sources to identify new sales leads.
Communicate with customers and leads to understand their product or service needs and suggest appropriate offerings.
Meet face-to-face with potential or existing customers and close significant transactions.
Sell video surveillance, security, and smart home automation solutions to business and residential customers.
Perform daily tasks using an iPad or smartphone and complete basic math.
