About The Position

This position is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard Members, Military Spouses and Caregivers of War Wounded. The role is a Full-Time Armed Security Protective Officer with a variable work schedule. Assignments will be at client sites in the areas of the 20151 and 22060 zip codes. The work environment is typically busy, subject to frequent interruptions, outdoor conditions including extreme temperatures and weather, and high noise levels. Physical demands include exerting up to 200 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual and audio acuity are required for operating vehicles, equipment, firearms, and clearing barrels. Hazards include proximity to moving parts, vehicles, electrical current, high heat, and chemicals. Respirator use may be required. The role requires standing for extended periods, often without breaks, and may involve climbing stairs or ladders and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.

Requirements

Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI-CI Poly.
US. Citizen
High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
At least 21 years of age.
Valid U.S. state-issued driver's license.
No domestic violence convictions (Lautenberg compliance).
Two years of service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Two years of experience in physical security or a combo of military service and security experience.
Three years of experience as a security officer.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree or higher in a security-related or law enforcement field.
Completion of a police officer basic training academy.

Enforce site security regulations.
Document incidents and investigations.
Respond to medical emergencies.
Manage keys and safe/vault combinations.
Conduct facility patrols.
Engage in specialized duties with K-9 teams, Bike Patrol, Emergency Response, and Security Operations.
