About The Position

This role serves as the alternate contact for all security-related matters concerning the MILCON program. The Security Project Manager will assist the Lead Security Embed in overseeing construction security operations, including developing, modifying, implementing, and storing Construction Security Plans (CSP) for each project. This position requires coordinating security-related changes with SEC and MILCON leadership, reviewing project documents for security guidance, and acting as the Site Security Manager (SSM) to identify and report security violations. The role also involves managing construction security contracts, reporting on program updates, approving Personal Equipment Devices (PED), and facilitating site access for contractors. Attendance and participation in project meetings and briefings to leadership are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Associate’s degree and 7+ years of experience managing complex projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Microsoft Project
  • Proficiency with developing project management plans, leading multi-discipline teams of architects and engineers from a variety of organizations, and monitoring/reporting project status
  • Highly skilled in customer service and diverse stakeholder engagement
  • Competent in reading and understanding construction drawings/specifications and knowledgeable in standard construction industry practices

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the alternate contact for all security related matters regarding the MILCON program.
  • Assist the Lead Security Embed with overseeing the management of construction security operations.
  • Assist in developing, modifying, implementing and storing the Construction Security Plans (CSP) per each project.
  • Coordinate any security related changes to SEC and MILCON leadership prior to implementation.
  • Review design/construction drawings, RFI’s, submittals, and any project/contract related changes and provides security guidance and recommendations.
  • Serves as the programs Site Security Manager (SSM) and identifies and reports on any security related violations and deviations from the CSP.
  • Assist in managing the construction security contracts, and report on program/project related updates.
  • Assist with the approval of Personal Equipment Devices (PED).
  • Assist with site and campus related access for the general/sub-contractors.
  • Attend and participate in all project/program related meetings and engagements when required.
  • Brief leadership and counterparts on all security related information and updates when applicable.
