About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Guardian Security Officer to work in the Miami Shores, Florida area. The officer will serve and safeguard clients in settings such as commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government, providing access control and patrols while remaining visible and delivering customer service and clear communication. The role requires working across multiple client locations to cover special projects, call-offs, vacations, and open shifts, with availability at any time and on any day. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site and may include indoor and outdoor work in all weather. The listed pay rate is $16.75 per hour.

Applicants must have a valid Florida Security License D and 1–2 years of security experience. Other minimum requirements include being at least 21 years old, holding a valid driver's license, and having a high school diploma or equivalent or five years of verifiable experience. Applicants must be comfortable walking and standing for extended periods and working indoors and outdoors in all weather. Employment is contingent on background investigation and, where permitted by law, drug screening. Licensing requirements may apply before employment.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
