About The Position

Security Professionals help provide safety and security for riders on the transit light rail system, station platforms, facilities, and buses throughout the Greater St. Louis region. This is an outdoor posted position involving long periods of walking and/or standing. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. The position pays $20.13 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of verifiable previous security experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• At least 21 years of age for county license.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable licensing requirements, which may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
