Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening entry at access points, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols for a regulated aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, badges, visitor logs, and delivery activity to help to deter unauthorized access and/or report irregular activity in accordance with site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts, documenting events, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access control concerns, and other security-related issues that may need attention.
  • Support badging, escort, and restricted area procedures by confirming authorization levels, providing directions, and communicating clearly with personnel and visitors regarding access requirements.
