As a Security Professional - Telecom Access Patrol Driver in Anderson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, managing access points, and providing outstanding customer service while assisting with security-related matters. This position includes driving responsibilities and requires a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, verify credentials, and issue visitor passes as necessary.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to assist in resolving security-related concerns within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and observe any irregularities in the environment.
  • Document all security-related observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and the site.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related matters and maintain a professional presence at the location.
