Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
X Ray screening experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity or security-related concerns and report findings according to established protocols.
Support the implementation of access control procedures and help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or contractors at the location, addressing questions or concerns as appropriate.
Document all incidents, observations, and/or actions taken during assigned shifts in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to stay current on security-related procedures relevant to the location.
