Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate security, hospitality, or a customer service-focused environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using computers, standard security software, and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
  • Requires a high degree of professional maturity and sound judgment necessary to handle complex tenant interactions and sensitive security matters.
  • Clean Driving Record

Nice To Haves

  • Previous security experience within a High-Rise Commercial Office Building environment is strongly preferred and will be considered a significant asset.
  • Bi-lingual considered a plus
  • Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring Life Safety and Critical Infrastructure by performing tours throughout the Gallagher Campus.
  • Performing access control, escorting, response to alarms and events, and relieving fixed posts.
  • Coordinating and communicating all security activities to the ROC via the intercom, radio or landline.
  • Identifying and reporting Life Safety issues.
  • Touring the building to prevent and identify potential incidents and responding accordingly to an event.
  • Monitoring critical infrastructure.
  • Providing perimeter security.
  • Monitoring control access points, i.e. turnstiles, dock, emergency exits.
  • Using an access control card or post keys to enter required locations.
  • Reporting anything out of the ordinary to the ROC Analyst.
  • Filling out a Daily Activity Report (DAR).
  • Having knowledge of emergency SOPs as well as general working knowledge of other posts as they will be reliving various posts.
