As a Security Officer Patrol in Troy, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of communication.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify and report suspicious activity, access control issues, and/or facility concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or badges as required by site policies, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in a clear and timely manner.
• Support access control and visitor management practices while interacting professionally with personnel and guests in areas that may involve specialized operations, restricted zones, and/or changing work conditions.
