Our Allied Universal officers at a chemical and petrochemical location conduct routine unarmed patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors in accordance with site protocols and hazardous location requirements.
• Support site operations by communicating clearly with personnel, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned security-related duties.
