As a Security Professional - HOA Full-Time Access Control in San Juan Capistrano, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support access control procedures by verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the commercial real estate location.
- Assist visitors and tenants with questions and provide customer service in a professional manner.
- Carry out site-specific policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help minimize disruption at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or equipment malfunctions, according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with property management and/or emergency responders when appropriate, following established emergency response activities.
