Security Access Control - Full Time
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Access Control Tech Campus in Mount Juliet, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As part of the Allied Universal team in a dynamic tech and media location, you will perform access control duties, monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter security-related incidents. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
- Monitor access points and verify identification to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with access needs while maintaining security-related standards.
- Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
- Support emergency response activities as required by site-specific procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with site personnel, visitors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
