Job Description As a Security Professional - Armed Access Control in Delray Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an ACCESS_CONTROL professional, where you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling government locations. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the government location, verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with access-related inquiries and procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and access control issues to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency response teams when necessary, following the location's protocols.
