Requirements

A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent program is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other protective equipment as required for an armed patrol post.
Observe and report activities or incidents that may require further attention, documenting all findings and actions taken.
Assist visitors and personnel at the location by providing information and guidance related to security-related matters.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders when appropriate, following established protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide reassurance to the public.
