As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor government locations, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will also provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and reliability. Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned government location, assisting visitors and employees as required.
  • Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
  • Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
