As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a welcoming presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible, and delivering outstanding customer service while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. Requirements

At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity.
Communicate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
Document incidents, observations, and daily activities according to site-specific protocols.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related issues.
Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for handling weapons and maintaining a professional armed presence.
